The World's Luckiest Fishing Village

Destin is known as the "World's Luckiest Fishing Village" for an obvious reason. Within minutes of leaving the dock, fishermen can find deeps water. Depths of over 100-foot can be found within 10 miles of the shoreline. There is no other location in the Gulf of Mexico that allows such quick access to water of this depth.
